Prosper 2022 is almost here and the Baker Hill team is excited to host everyone in our own hometown, Indianapolis.

Baker Hill’s premier industry event, Prosper, is designed to provide perspective about the status of the banking industry, as well as where it is anticipated to go in the coming months. Throughout the duration of the event, attendees will discover how to best leverage Baker Hill NextGen® to meet the current and future status of the industry, gain valuable insights into the banking industry, identify best practices, and explore diverse financial industry topics.

In case “exploring diverse financial topics” isn't exciting enough to you, let’s dive in to the top five reasons that you should consider attending Prosper 2022. Our clients that come year after year have continuously shared that these are just a few of the many reasons why they recommend attending Prosper:

1. Networking

Sallie Krawcheck, who is known as one of the most powerful women on Wall Street, said:

“Networking has been cited as the number one unwritten rule of success in business. Who you know really impacts what you know.”

and we cannot stress enough how vital the connections you’ll make at Prosper will be.

Prosper is intentionally designed to give you the opportunity to network and learn from others. Whether it’s our Birds of a Feather session that is  led by Baker Hill clients sharing how they get the most out of Baker Hill NextGen®, our planned networking activities, or even just time spent with new contacts during coffee breaks or meals, Prosper is about expanding your network and in turn expanding your knowledge.

2. Roundtable Discussions

While Baker Hill NextGen® is built on combing the expertise of both bankers and the tech industry, we know there’s never such thing as too many knowledgeable people in one room. Prosper’s roundtable discussions are opportunities for you to dig deeper into topics with a small group of peers. Interested in speaking with other bankers about reporting? Wanting to discuss new ideas for automation and business rules? There will be multiple opportunities for you to connect with others at Prosper to learn about the topics that are most important to you from others that have been in your shoes. The chance to learn from a wide variety of experts is something that can’t be overvalued.

3. Educational Sessions and Keynote Addresses

Aside from learning from peers during the networking and roundtable discussions, Prosper also gives you the opportunity to learn from other industry experts throughout the conference with engaging educational sessions and keynote addresses. Focused on topics that are facing the banking industry, there are multiple opportunities to gain knowledge to take back to your bank or credit union and grow in your career. This year’s speakers include Baker Hill’s subject matter experts, an impressive roster of our clients and partners that are truly changing the future of the banking, and industry expert Ron Shevlin, Chief Research Officer at Cornerstone Advisors and is a Senior Contributor and author of FinTech Snark Tank on Forbes.

4. Get Involved with the User Community

When we say “built by bankers, for bankers” we don’t just mean the former bankers that work at Baker Hill (although you can catch several of them leading a panel discussion on day two of Prosper.) Baker Hill also relies on the User Community, a group of key end-users representing financial institutions of all sizes that are leveraging Baker Hill products. The User Community works directly with the Baker Hill product team to give feedback on upcoming product launches, what features they’d like to see included in our product roadmap, and other information about the industry.

The User Community is a great way to meet other Baker Hill clients, build relationships with bankers from other financial institutions, and share best practices, allowing you access to collective knowledge year-round.

While at Prosper, the User Community will elect new board members to represent all Baker Hill users across the country, so we recommend checking it out to see how you can get involved.

5. Fun

While Prosper is primarily an educational event, it would be an oversight to not highlight how fun Prosper is! We’ve planned activities that highlight Indianapolis, starting with a welcome reception and behind the scenes tours of the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway museum. We’re also offering golf at a golf course designed by Indianapolis-resident Pete Dye, a bus tour of Indy’s best local breweries, and more! You won’t want to miss the live music and dancing after dinner on Monday, either.

We take pride in putting on an educational, immersive, and rewarding experience at Prosper each year. We invite you to  join us in Indianapolis on April 24-26 to see for yourself why these are just a few of the many reasons this conference is so beloved by many. You can learn more and register here and we hope to see you there!
