Anna O’Nan

Chief Financial Officer at BKR H/LL

“The right balance drives lasting success.”

Since 2018, Anna O’Nan has served as Chief Financial Officer at BKR H/LL, where she leads the Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams with a steady hand and a forward-looking vision. With more than 25 years of financial, legal, and corporate services leadership, Anna has guided organizations through periods of rapid growth, global expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration in highly regulated industries including technology, life sciences, and fintech.

Anna played a pivotal role in the global expansion of Biostorage Technologies, a venture-capital-backed bio-repository headquartered in Indianapolis, and in its successful sale and integration into Azenta, a publicly traded company. She also led the financial, legal, and human resources aspects of the sale of private-equity-backed BKR H/LL to its current investor, Flexpoint Ford.

Her expertise and leadership have been widely recognized—most notably when she was named 2020 CFO of the Year by the Indianapolis Business Journal in the category of Private Companies: Revenues under $100M.

Beyond her professional achievements, Anna values family and adventure. She and her husband of 30 years live in Carmel, Indiana, and together with their two grown children, they share a love of outdoor activities—running, wake surfing, paddle boarding, skiing, and even obstacle course racing. Passionate travelers enjoy exploring new places and creating experiences that bring both challenge and joy.

Anna’s leadership reflects her belief that resilience, curiosity, and teamwork are essential not only in business but also in life.
