John M. Deignan is a dynamic senior executive with broad and diverse experience in global business management – generating millions of dollars in profitable growth. He finds success in building, reorganizing and directing multi-disciplined teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions to the market. With nearly 30 years of industry experience, he is able to define and align business strategies and marketing and sales initiatives to identify and secure growth opportunities. Deignan is also effective at leveraging strategic partnerships and negotiation skills to turn around and transform underperforming entities into profit-focused, customer service-driven organizations.

As president and chief executive officer at Baker Hill, Deignan is responsible for consulting clients to provide guidance and expertise on leveraging technology to drive more profitable relationships. Prior to Baker Hill, Deignan spent the majority of his career at Diebold Nixdorf, where he held various senior leadership positions. Most recently, he was chief marketing officer, overseeing daily operations supporting all aspects of global marketing and product management for the corporation. He was also vice president of its North American sales division, where he was responsible for all commercial efforts and P&L performance for its North America National Accounts organization. Additionally, Deignan has held several international leadership roles, serving as managing director for Diebold in Australia and New Zealand, as well as for Diebold’s Canadian organization. During his tenure, he primarily focused on the global bank and credit union markets, providing him a unique perspective that will foster continued growth and innovation at Baker Hill.

Deignan is passionate about helping clients succeed. At Baker Hill, Deignan will work closely with the company’s clients to help them best leverage technology and data analytics to drive sustained growth and profitability within their organization. His extensive experience in the financial services industry will be invaluable in transitioning Baker Hill as a driving force in lending and business intelligence solutions.

Deignan is an active member of the Association for Financial Technology (AFT) and also serves on TechPoint Indiana's board. 

Deignan earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Marquette University and a master’s degree in International Business from Roosevelt University.
