SAS 70 Type II examination
Baker Hill gained SAS 70 accreditation from Ernst & Young LLP in 2005,
receiving an unqualified or “clean” opinion on its SAS 70 Type II
examination. The independent review was completed over a period of six
months from March 1, 2005 to August 31, 2005 and provides a detailed
description of the internal control environment at Baker Hill as it
pertains to the operation of the Baker Hill Origination System.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
in 1993, SAS 70 is a widely recognized auditing standard that is
designed to allow service organizations to disclose their control
activities and processes to their clients and their clients’ auditors.
